Systems Installation Project - Iraq
Consultel has collaborated with Bearing Point on performing the
installation of equipments, systems and networks in the six Iraqi border
posts, which are Um Qasr, Ibrahim Al Khalil, Rabe’a, Al Qae’m, Al Walid, and
Trebil. Consultel’s team consisted of technical staff, which was responsible
for the installation, in addition to the project manager who accompanied the
team, set the schedules and made sure that the work is completely done under
the difficult circumstances of the country.

For the last (8) Eight years Consultel is active in trading with
Satellite transmission, automatic transmission up to 18 satellite channels,
empeg 2 compression technology, with Sony Broadcast & Professional UK and
Dubai, UAE and Tandberg Television UK. DSNG Digital satellite new gathering on mobile care with Swedish company,
Stockholm, Sweden.

Joint venture with (IAL) for gaining maintenance contract, by recruiting
18 people to work with international Air Radio Ltd. (IAL) for the crash
programme operation of Queen Alia Airport 1984 contract lasted for 3 years.

Joint venture with (IAL) for gaining maintenance contract for King
Huseein Military Hospital in Amman for period of five years contract ended
in 1989. Technical staff were 130 people recruited locally plus initial 36
expatriates from UK by end of period reduced down to 6 expatriates

Recruiting 42 Technical staff for Brown Bouvery (ABB now) for Qasr
Kheraneh Transmitting project 1989–1990 (Manpower included Administrators,
Engineers, Accountants, Technicians and labor).

Contracting execution recruiting 40 technical people for cable and
wireless contract in Saudi for the National Guard in 1978.

Assisting in recruiting 80 technical people for cable and wireless for
the installation for Queen Alia International airport in 1982 (Engineering
Services).

Much recruitment for individuals of specially responsibility positions
for Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, and Oman for private commercial organizations.
Consultel process in recruiting manpower starts from advertising in the
local media, accepting applications, screening for opted values, arranging
for final interview with the principles, following up on legalized paper
work for travel, proof follow up for 3 months after employment.
